1. What does Kitchen & Bath Gallery of the Finger Lakes do?
We design kitchens and bathrooms and supply the products to build them, from cabinetry and countertops to tubs, showers, and mirrors. We’ve served homeowners in Horseheads and the Finger Lakes since 1989, and our showroom is at 940 Chemung Street in Horseheads, NY.
2. Can I buy products without using your design service?
Yes. If you already have a design in mind, you can purchase products directly from us for your own project or for your contractor. You can also buy design blueprints on their own, or combine design and products in one package.
3. Can you create a design using materials I’ve already picked out?
Absolutely. Our Design Guidance option builds a plan around the products you’ve already chosen, so everything fits your space and works together.
4. Do you install kitchens and bathrooms?
You have a few options for installation. You can work with your own contractor, we can refer you to one of our trusted professionals, or you can handle the installation yourself.
5. Do you take measurements of my kitchen or bathroom?
Yes. You can provide your own measurements, or our team can take initial measurements for a fee. Either way, all measurements are confirmed by our staff or your contractor before any order is placed, so everything fits correctly.
6. What kinds of kitchen cabinets do you offer?
We carry fully custom, semi-custom, and stock cabinetry, which gives you options for a wide range of budgets and styles.
7. What countertop materials can I choose from?
Our countertop selection includes quartz, granite, laminate, Corian, and butcher block. We can help you compare them based on how you use your kitchen and what fits your budget.
8. What bathroom products do you carry?
We offer vanities, mirrors (including Krugg lighted mirrors), bathtubs ranging from classic clawfoot styles to modern freestanding tubs, and showers in tile, solid surface, or acrylic.
9. Where is your showroom, and when can I visit?
Our showroom is at 940 Chemung Street, Suite D, in Horseheads, NY 14845. We’re open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with other times available by appointment. Call 607-739-4587 to set up a visit.
10. What happens during the design process?
It starts with a consultation where we talk through your needs, style, and budget, and look at how the room connects to the rest of your home. We then present design options that may include floor plans, material recommendations, and price quotes. Once you’ve decided, we put together a detailed purchase agreement, handle the ordering, and schedule deliveries.
